Internship
The internship is an essential component of the study program at B.H.M.S. which has to be done by each student. The school provides this opportunity to its students to gain valuable paid work experience in the hospitality sector in Switzerland. At first, a student joins the internship in some hospitality industry in a junior support role. This is where they practice and polish all the skills they have learned during their academics in the first six months at school. In the second year, students are supposed to take more responsibility as senior managers in their respective fields of specialization.

Masterwork is a placement company owned by B.H.M.S. that provides global career and placement support to B.H.M.S. graduates after completion of their academic programs.
Apart from this, B.H.M.S. also has good connections with several other international placement agencies placing students in Europe, Asia and North America. The placement agencies assist students in preparing resumes and applications, training them for the interviews, and assisting in filing visa and work permit applications.
B.H.M.S. also organizes an event called “Career Days” in which employers come to Switzerland to recruit students for internships and hire students directly on campus.
